Merv started work for a Lower Hutt legal firm in 1976 and has practiced as a general practice lawyer, principally in Lower Hutt, since that time.
Merv has developed considerable experience in a wide range of legal work with an emphasis on business and commercial law, wills and trusts, subdivision of land and property law and trusteeship for charitable and not for profit organisations, amongst a wide range of other areas of the law.
Merv is also a Notary Public and able to assist with international documentation.

Nicola has been practicing as a solicitor for over 15 years, principally in Lower Hutt.
Nicola has experience in advising clients on a range of legal matters including buying and selling property, trusts, estates and succession planning. Nicola has particular expertise in advising on relationship property and separation matters.
In terms of commercial and business matters, Nicola advises on company structures, leasing and business arrangements.

Mike joined the JAG team in May 2017. He has practiced law in the Hutt Valley for over 30 years, most recently in Petone. He specialises in all types of property transactions and private client work including relationship property (contracting out agreements and separation agreements), family trusts, wills, enduring powers of attorney, estate planning and estate administration. Mike also advises clients on business structures and commercial arrangements for small to medium sized businesses. Mike is a Notary Public and able to assist with documentation for overseas countries.

Jessica is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives, with over 15 years’ experience in various property areas including residential conveyancing, refinancing transactions and subdivisions. Jessica obtained her Legal Executive qualification in 2003 and her Diploma in Conveyancing in 2011. She has a particular passion for residential conveyancing and is dedicated to providing a high standard of professional client care and services.
